Faced with three months to lower my cholesterol, I was at a loss as to how to begin. My doctor recommended exercise and a change in diet, but how to put this into practice? Let me share with you what worked for me.

Being a lover of good food, it was very important to continue to eat delicious meals. For each of the 90 days I cooked a cholesterol-friendly dish that the whole family could eat.

In order to motivate myself I kept a diary of the challenges thrown up by evolving from a couch potato to an active walker.  I tiptoed through the minefield of dinner parties, summer holidays and restaurant menus while trying to keep my resolve and make healthy choices.

This blog presents my story and the recipes I used to eat my way to lower cholesterol.

I hope you find some inspiration. Please send me your recipe ideas to fromthehealthyheart@gmail.com
